The Good Argument
“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” said Alice.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the cat. “We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” asked Alice.
“You must be,” said the cat, “or you wouldn’t have come.”

The text you are going to read is everything the company intends to build on. It reflects the meaning behind the company, the aspirations, ambition, and spirit that I hope to preserve.
Attitiude
The Good Argument does not fit. We don’t expect people to agree with our vision or directions, but we hear their concerns and thoughts, especially from within. The responsibility of this company is to take educated risks; We want to make decisions, mistakes, and our own lessons learned instead of getting stuck at local minima of our predecessors. Our bootstrapped nature gives us full independence in narrative, strategy, and vision; we cannot waste it on being sterilized consulting-wanna-be.
Ambition
This company is designed to bring back the romanticised golden age of software development that gave us Linux, Steam, and SQLite. Humbling big tech in the process is a bonus. We don’t need to be loud, just curious, focused, and brave. Just make amazing stuff.
